STORY
In the 1920s, Okiku, who has no relatives, works as a maid at a remote mansion. The master, Kikuo, a writer of puppet theatre, lives in seclusion with his sick wife. Okiku is forbidden to enter their room and has never seen Kikuo’s wife.She begins to feel uneasy, and sneaks in to find out the truth…
